Main window

Move window from task bar to the system tray

Set it ON to remove CCCalc's button from Windows task bar and from Alt-Tab switch task list. Small CCCalc icon will appear in the system tray instead. Use this icon to control CCCalc.

Terminate application when window is closed

If this option is ON then CCCalc will terminate when you close its window, otherwise it will minimize it and not terminate.

To terminate the program regardless of this setting use command "Exit" from menu "File" or from the tray icon popup menu.

Minimize window on ESCAPE

If it is checked then ESCAPE key press will minimize CCCalc's window.

Always on top

If it is checked then the CCCalc window will always be displayed above all other open windows.

Keyboard

Simulate NumLock mode

If this option is ON then CCCalc will treat your key presses as if NumLock mode of your keyboard was set ON regardless of its real state.

Click sound on key press

If this option is ON then CCCalc will make click-like sound when valid key have been pressed.

On Enter move caret to result of current expression

If this option is on, then on Enter key press CCCalc will move the caret to the result of the current expression. It will create the result line if it is not exist. Second Enter key press will lead to creation of new expression at the bottom of the text.

Copy numbers while entering expressions

CCCalc automatically inserts new number to expressions when you enter an operation sign. This option controls what numbers it inserts.

If this option is ON (by default) then CCCalc insert a copy of the current number and marks this copy with a selection. If it is OFF then new number is zero and selection is not set.

In both cases the key sequence to enter an expression is the same, but the default behavior generally gives some more opportunity to optimize your efforts.

This option is provided mostly for users of versions of CCCalc prior to 2.1 to rollback it to a previous behavior.
